Why의문문은 아래를 묻기 위해 사용한다. 

1. 이유 :답변으로 because/ because of
2. 원인 
3. 목적 :to V(~하기 위해서)가 답으로 자주 나온다

Why의 권유, 청유 제안으로 사용할 수 있다. (Yes/No 대답 가능)

• Why don't you(we)? 
• How about~?/ What about~?
• Would you like (to)~?           :ok-> sure/ no-> I'm sorry.
• Would you care for(to)~?   : ~하시겠어요? 
• What do you say to n(명사)?
• What do you say to -ing? 
• Would you be interested in~?
• Why not +V ~?              
  : ex) Why not take a break?
           Yes, that's a good idea.

      B: That sounds terrific. 그거 좋은 생각입니다. 

15. A: Why don't we straighten up this room? 이 방을 정돈합시다.

      B: That's a good idea, as soon as I finish this call. 

16. A: Why don't you put in your resume at the Geestar Company? 당신의 이력서를 지스타 회사에 

                             :제출하다                                                                제출하지 그래요?

      B: It doesn't pay enough.  거기는 급여가 충분하지 않습니다.
