Icebreakers & Warmers

The general goal of Ice breaking activities is to help Students learn better. 

Ice breaking actives: 

• Relation/ relief/ fun
• energize (hot heart beat)
• get to know each other(introductions name)
• rapport(build relation ship)

Whereas "icebreakers" are not normally related to the subject matter, "Warmers" or "Warm-ups" are related to the subject matter that is to be discussed.

Warming-up activities: same topic, need connection/ to make interesting /curiosity
:2 parts to an activity
    1. organize 
    2. run (usually 3 steps run)

1.stand up 

2. make a circle 

3. introduce the rude

• Vocabulary (How to introduce to your students)
• Have same idea about topic
• They're wondering "curious" to get them interested. 
• More student talking
• More focus their attention
• Curious about the topic
• Schema= It's your experience(every student schema is unique)
• Stimulate that: 
                         interesting (association with their interesting)
                         reason
                         interact
                         motivate them
                         participate the activity
                         get interest
